# Develop and operate > Live-reload development with klio dev, a shell in a container, logs, and managing running apps. Canonical page: https://klio.tech/docs/develop ## Develop with live reload ```bash klio dev app.py:predict ``` `klio dev` starts a container and keeps your current directory synced into it as you edit, so a change runs without a new deploy. Name a handler to use its image and settings, or leave it out for a default environment. `--sync` picks another directory. ## Open a shell in a container ```bash klio shell app.py:predict ``` This opens an interactive shell in a container with that handler's image, volumes and secrets: useful to check a dependency or look at files before you deploy. The container stops when you leave the shell. ## Logs ```bash klio logs klio app logs ``` `klio logs` reads or follows workload logs, and `klio app logs` reads one app's. The console shows the same logs on each app's page. ## Manage apps ```bash klio app list klio app info klio app stop ``` An app groups the deployments made from one file. `klio app info` shows its deployments and addresses, and `klio app stop` stops all of them. Each app is also in the console, with its usage and cost.
