Durable disks

Fixed-size block storage on local SSD that keeps its data between runs.

Create a disk

klio disk create cache --size 50Gi
klio disk list

A durable disk is fixed-size block storage on local SSD, for work that needs a fast filesystem rather than shared files; for files that many containers read, use a volume.

Mount it

from klio_compute import DurableDisk, function

cache = DurableDisk(name="cache", size="50Gi", mount_path="/cache")

@function(disks=[cache])
def warm():
    ...

The disk is mounted at mount_path and keeps its data between runs.
