Persistent VMs

Create a CPU virtual machine that keeps its disk between sessions, and connect to it over SSH.

Create a VM

klio vm new my-box
klio vm ssh my-box

klio vm new creates a CPU virtual machine with a durable root disk, so installed packages and files are still there next time. klio vm ssh opens a shell on it. Run klio vm new --help for its size, image, port and network options.

Stop and list

klio vm list
klio vm stop my-box

klio vm stop saves the root disk and shuts the VM down; klio vm start brings it back. klio vm list shows each VM, its disk size and its uptime.
